I recently did a group booking for 46 people with Thompson Tours and had a great overall experience
I recently did a group booking for 46 people with Thompson Tours and had a great overall experience. On the South Africa side, Nomfundo Bhegala handled all the arrangements and planning, and was fantastic to work with — attentive, organized, and made the whole process stress-free, even with a group of that size. On the ground in Mauritius, Luxmee and Yuvrin took great care of us, and were equally welcoming and amazing with their service. The one downside was that our hotel, Riu Palace Mauritius, was quite strict about their dining rules, with no room for compromise, which was a bit frustrating at times, especially for a group our size. That said, this was a hotel policy issue rather than anything to do with Thompson Tours or either team's service. Despite that hiccup, I'd happily book with Thompson Tours again, and would recommend Nomfundo Bhegala in South Africa, along with Luxmee and Yuvrin in Mauritius
