Bad service

I was at the Establishment at Alex Mall yesterday (01 October) with my friend and her baby girl (1 year, 2 months). We sat for about 15 minutes before being assisted. She called before we got there, and asked about a child seat. She was told you have those however upon arrival, we were told you don't have seats for children.

Anyway, I had to make a phone call to the restaurant - while sitting there and waiting for service. The manager came to assist. He was very helpful and gave us menu's etc. The juice for the baby had ice - and we asked one of the waiters for a mug and s****, so we could take the ice out. This NEVER arrived. He didn't even apologise or say anything and he was serving one of the tables close to us.

We ordered our food. I ordered a T-bone steak and my friend fish and prawns. She received fish and chips instead. And I got a butter knife - for a steak?

The food was great though - I cannot fault you on that, however your service is appalling. It was even worse that when other people arrived, they got immediate service. What was different about us? I think you need to treat everyone equally, and also, speak to your waiters not to give attitude to customers.

I am terribly disgusted by the very low level of service at the Establishment - especially because of the great vibe.

It was my first and last time there.
