NEDC ************s and harrassments at the Yard Apartments, Aukland Park

I would like to share my horrific experience of missing a payment by just one day. I was sent to NEDC debt collector immediately a day past the payment due date and got harrassed by the NEDC agent. Here is one of the emails from NEDC to me after paying the rental due: Dear Tenant, Please find below settlement amount for payment. Please make the payment before TODAY 12H00 Am still and you must sent me the proof of payment via email and what’s app Or else blacklisting will be done by tomorrow for any arrears amount still owed. Please take note all correspondence and any interaction from NEDC to yourself, will be invoiced monthly just before the next statement run. See the clause 4.1 & 4.7 of your NL Lease which was accepted and signed by yourself. Be advised that NL is linked to all credit bureaus and your credibility is automatically updated immediately Please find the full settlement (including NEDC charges) amount to pay and avoid further charges & possible blacklisting as per the demand letter sent: ARREARS: R552.80 including the late payment fee NEDC FEES: R704.20 emails send and received x 14, rep**** emails x 20 including received reports, received reports and delivered reports, settlement sent, calls made x4 and smsses / what’s apps sent between us x19 and tpn loaded that rent was not paid on time. LATE PAYMENT FEE: R70.42 second late payment fee Balance to pay immediately: R774.62 Please use the correct reference when making your payment: Please take note if this amount is not paid by today, it will CHANGE. NEDC is requesting your co-operation please Much Appreciated
