Caution needed shopping with The World Online on BidorBuy

I buy a lot of stuff online. A Lot! This South African company advertises / sells through bidorbuy, and they are very sneaky. They bury the fact that some items will attract duty, and a few days after I purchased an item, I got an SMS saying my item had arrived at customs, and that I needed to pay an extra amount to get it released. I was very unhappy. So, I contacted the store and told them that they had not forewarned me, and that they needed to pay the duty, or I will write a bad review. You can see by the fact I m writing this, how they responded.

So I had already spent a lot of money on a bag, so I paid the duty. The next thing is I receive a message that their "ICS courier" shipping was sending my package to PEP stores 20 minute drive from my house. So the shipping fee of R100 is also way more than it costs them to actually ship, as it is only R60 to send via Paxi.

The company communicated at every step of the way, but it is misleading advertising, in my opinion, because one would like to know before hand what one is actually paying for. Anything referred to as a courier, is expected to deliver to your door.
