I need my personal belongings in your office

I work for the company that renting The Workspace offices. On 01 October 2018 when I went to work, I was told by The Workspace personnel that our offices are locked because office rent is not paid. I requested that they allow me to take my personal belongings in the office but they refused. In that office there is my chronic medication which I can't live without, my personal laptop, my ID book and bank card. I requested they inform their head office and they did but unfortunately they were advised not to allow me to take my personal belongings. I find this very unfair and senseless because they have a legal binding contract with the company I work for so why keep my belongings because the company will still have to pay even though the offices are locked. The workspace caused a huge inconvenience as I had to apply for a new ID book, buy another medication while I have medication locked in their offices which I think it has expired by now, my personal laptop which has all my family pictures, videos and family business files. I was so hurt and dissapointed by this. I am just an employee in the company not the owner there was no need for them to deny me taking my stuff. It's been 2 full months without my belongings. I need my things before I take further legal actions against The workspace.
