Mince not savory when served but savory according to menu choice

We are up visiting from Cape Town the in laws and they decided take us to your establishment for lunch on Tuesday this week. According to them it was highly recommended and they have eaten there before. After getting seated we decided to order the waffles with the savory mince dish. Well firstly when we got the dish and proceeded to start eating the mince was not savory, it had no savory elements what so ever. We got the impression it was cooked and then just placed in the dish with a tomato source without any salt or flavor whatsoever. Thinking back now i wonder if the chef actually tasted it before it was served. Secondly it came with a small salad and my mother in law asked if she could get some salad dressing, well the waiter brought olive oil and when asked why he said it was the only dressing they had. Overall the service was good but you need to taste what you make before serving to your customers, as what your customer sees on the menu and what you actually deliver needs to be the same thing.
