Justice on our valuable items forgotten in hotels.

We had a revolutionary union workshop in Durban on the 11th and 12th and we slept at The Waterfront Hotel and Spa on the 11th,we checked out on the 12th, later on the day I remembered that I forgot my wallet in room 1009, it had R800,smart ID card, bank cards, clothing store cards and few useful receipts. I called the hotel and they said they will get to me the following day because the day cleaners already had knocked off. Today the 13th I called again they referred me to house keeping manager and she said she will get back to me, few minutes later she called saying the lady who was cleaning the room did not find my wallet. I insisted that they must go look for it on the left side drawer of the bed I slept on, and they said they didn't find it.I am hurt becouse I know that I left it there by mistake. I don't know what to do now.
