Reconsider booking with VIP Travel Company

We had a deeply disappointing experience with VIP Travel Company during our European holiday. The hotel they booked for us in Venice, advertised as a 4-star property, was shockingly dirty and uninhabitable, with stained bedding, paint coming of the walls, stained carpets and uncleaned rooms. Photos of the appalling conditions are available. Despite paying the agency in full upfront, our complaints were ignored for weeks. When they finally responded, they were dismissive, claiming they "delivered what was quoted," showing no concern for the unacceptable state of the hotel. We attempted to resolve the issue directly with them, but they refused to compromise or offer any reasonable solution. Additionally, the driver they arranged refused to pick us up because the booking, made by VIP Travel, listed only three bags without ever consulting us about our luggage. This left us stranded, forcing us to pay for alternative transportation out of pocket, despite having already paid VIP Travel for this service. This company’s lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unwillingness to address legitimate concerns is unacceptable. They took our money and showed zero care for our experience. We strongly urge others to reconsider booking with VIP Travel Company to avoid similar frustrations.
