shocking experience at village Table

village table Umhlanga , I have always longed to go to village table and went yesterday with family, we got there it was quiet and not soo many tables, but the service we recieved was appauling.. we were served by Thabo and the manager Nilton our drinks came on time, and we ordered food including a Tbone med well steak and being in the Industry we knew the food was gonna delay , but it came 50 mins later the waiter dumped it on the table and forgot to bring the extra portion of chips that we had ordered ... the food came to the table it was already cold looking for the waiter he was nowhere r to be found so we ate , he bought the extra portion of chips 20 minutes later and he dumped them and ddnt even apologize so then I started getting irritated, i ask for him and he did not come because I wanted to ask him why isn't he apologizing for the chips coming 20 minutes later and we were looking for him because the food was cold, he did not come, i went to the manager and told him and he did not apologise like a proper manager and take charge he just asked if he could change my waiter ? I said No thanks please can I have the bill an take aways because we will warm the food at home and eat apetite was lost ... the take aways came and the bill did not, we waived and we saw Thabo giving his colleague the bill, we waited another 15 minutes no acknowledgement whatsoever manager just looking at us so i walked away thinking they will follow so I can pay but they did not. total disappointment and i will never go there again . we go to other restaurants and willing to pay more for the service and ambience,
