Lack of customer service, instead gossiping!

I visited this store on Friday, 12 May looking for wrapping paper, I found one lady standing by the door, I asked for some assistance on getting a wrapping paper, she mumbled and I thought she was telling me that I’d get one on the isle she pointed at, with that confusion I was expecting her to be more of assistance, like show me exactly where, instead of she spoke to another one I could tell they were gossiping, because when I looked at her to confirm if I was going towards the correct isle I could she the discomfort between the two of them, of course in a foreign language. As if that was not enough, she just couldn’t see herself assisting, I mean she was standing with nothing to do except gossiping, I found myself walking around the store. At a point where I was going to pay the wrapping paper I had, I asked at the till if the have any wrapping with soccer theme and was told no. At this point I thought let me leave and go where I could be assisted, I’m of the opinion that if they wanted to assist they could have possibly asked to show me what they have and maybe from that I could pick something similar. The idea of cheap labour will be the end of SA businesses, worse so if they not appropriately trained!
