Update: 2020-01-15: I received a call from the store manager Alex (Montana). He was very friendly and apologized for my experience. He mentioned that they had to implement stricter refund guidelines due to bad returns in the past, but that a refund could still be done in certain understandable circumstances such as this. I went to the store and he assisted me personally. I did receive full store credit which i was more than happy with. I really appreciate Alex's manner in which he resolved the issue. He was able to restore my faith in the store, and i will definitely buy there again.

Initial review: 2019-12-22: I bought a R900 mod as a gift for my wife. 2 days later on my wife's birthday she said she preferred another mod which was R500. I went to The Vapery (Montana) to hopefully exchange it. They refused without looking at the item, which was still in exactly the same condition. I went to another shop, got my wife the mod she wanted.
