UNLIMITED Scratch and Dent - Rip-off!!useless product!!
Been with The Unlimited for years.. claim free!! Till now..first claim (successful),second claim (rejected).
Took my premiums for years.. Was sold this policy under the guise of covers all scratch and dent and if you have damages and you claim you wait 90 days and can claim again on damages no problem.. It doesn't and this is un true!!
If your car gets damaged you are alotted a minor (R7500) to cover all damage anything over you pay.. no problem there..However!! Any other damage that exists on your car (skuf, ding, scratch or dent related or unrelated) is considered "Pre existing" and your claims are rejected. (Advised by service consultant).
So it's a "one fire" policy.. years of premiums for a once off R7500.00 payment and everything or anything upto that point is "Pre existing" .. Good luck proving these events are seperate.. More so, how has scratch and dent cover (cover=ongoing protection) limited to single events..
Have cancelled this service.. better products out there in addition to vehicle insurance cover(short term)..
