Unlimited Scratch and Dent Policy ****

I would like to warn people about the Unlimited Vehicle scratch and dents policy. This policy is a ****, do not bother taking it up. They are very happy to take your money but try do a claim and you will realise that none of it is worth it.

I have 2 policies for 2 vehicles and lodged a claim on 28 April 2026 under TU***, for both of my vehicles. I took the vehicles to Hailrite PMB on or about 29 April 2026 and Hailrite sent quotations to the Auto Scratch and Dents at SA VM the following week. Quotations were submitted with pictures of all sides of the vehicle as requested. On May 12, an email was received from the Autoclaims department citing the pictures were incorrect. This was surprising because the pictures were taken and sent by the company authorised by them to actually do the quotations and pictures. Nonetheless, I took more pictures and sent them on 25 May 2026. On 3 June 2026, I received an email saying they were still wrong, I sent more pictures on the same day and on 4 June 2026, the pictures were still wrong. They attached pictures on 04 June 2026 which were the exact same as the ones I had sent. I sent an email asking them to send me the location of their offices so that I could go there and they could take the pictures themselves. No response since then.

My cars are still not fixed. Every month they are happy to take my money. I am cancelling this policy and warn anyone to not bother. When you need them they will not pull through. In fact I am never taking anything else from The Unlimited.
