I was sold a sort of scratch and dent policy and was told i can repair existing damage up to R3000 right away.
took it out and treid to claim and they tell me existing damage only after 3 months.. 3 months later i try to claim, they''ll email me.. got no email phoned again and told them to cancel, they told me i my claim have been opened and i just need to reply to the email." they keep on billing me i tell the bank to stop it, somehow they keep billing me then october a sales rep call me, try to sell me another policy i told them to cancel they put me thru to cancellations again they dont cancel and tell me to check my email for the claim i told them i never got a email, they confirm my email but they had it wrong. they take the correct email and nothing.
they did not bill me 1 november so yea they finally canceled it? nope i was billed Today, and the billing arrangement was for the 1st of every month why am i still being billed and on incorrect days on top of it?
they are just taking my money and taking my money and taking my money to date i received no paperwork and no email.
this is an outright ****
today i called them, and asked to be called back, no call so at 16;40 i sent message to their facebook to call me they reply that they will call me in the morning?? their office hours are till 17h00 not 16h40.

they will ask you to name exact dates and times when you spoke to customer care and also need the number you called from, any call you can not specifically name they will not find and then it never happened according to them.
they will refuse to cancel every chance they get, and will do everything to try and keep on taking your money.
currently the policy is canceled, and i am being refunded for December that they took early.
they refuse to process the claim that was requested in October, as i am told i need to insure myself for December in order to do so
why would i need to insure myself for December to get the initial damage claim done? well they say i need 2 consecutive months of debits before i can claim.
March + April + May + June + July + August + September + October .. anyone else think those add up to more than 2 months?
well they dont....
oh and yesterday i was **** to when they told me that this is not insurance and that therefore i can not involve the insurance ombudsman in this matter, latter it was confirmed with a assistant manager that this is indeed a form of insurance..
Now according to "Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (37 of 2002)"
a marketing telephone call is "advice" and (15.5) say they don't need to put advice in writing, but keep the audio copy
however (15.3) does say where a direct marketer concludes a transaction / contract orally, then it must be confirmed in writing within 30 days.
also the consumer protection act requires a copy of a contract to be given in writing to a customer.
I have not received my contract in writing, they claim to have mailed it via ordinary post, but I have not received any. they had my email wrong so could not email it to me.
I have not relieved a copy of the agreement to date, even after i told them many times i have not received it and requested it again.
they have provided my with a audio copy of the direct marketing advice that resulted in the transaction, but have failed to confirm the contract/transaction it in writing within 30 days
now my point of view is:
-they failed to provide me with a copy of the contract, not in the 1st 30 days and again when i informed them i have not received it.
- they failed to act om my multiple requests to do the initial damage claim, and therefore i had ZERO benefit from this
- they continue to refuse my initial claim that i have proof of again requesting in October, while i had current and up to date coverage in October and insist that i need to resume cover and pay for November and December if i want to continue the claim of October.
so since I never received my contract in writing, and they refuse the initial claim and have not provided me with any service and continue to refuse to provide said service, then therefore i want a full refund of the full contract fees to date.
I have now escalated the matter to the very top and are awaiting a call. will update again later

according to them you can claim this after the 2nd payment, but while i had cover from march to October, i never managed to get this claim process started.
I never, even to date, never received a copy of the agreement.
they decided to settle by refunding all my payments to date, they did however not include interest, so they kept the interest on it.
i guess i got the refund because its less than what the claim would have been, so yea that still leaves me with a I got *****ed feeling, I think the only reason I got this far is because i came here to hellopeter.
over the past week i spent at least 10 hours on the phone with them to try and resolve this, and thats not counting my many other calls.
If you are reading this because you are considering to use " the unlimited" in any way, then here are my advice, stay away, stay far away, if they have you in a policy, then cancel it asap.
I have spoken to the top people in the company, and they all don't care a damn about us customers, they will take your money and will do anything to take your money and will do make it as difficult as possible to settle a dispute, and always they will push it over to the next day.
so there, thats it I'm done. Never again will i use them, and i will continue to advise people to stay away

"Direct Selling Association of South Africa" (DSA) http://www.dsasa.co.za/
when i asked them who they belong to for dispute resolution they did not provide me with this information at all.
I have now notified DSA about this incident for them to review,
I still feel like i got *****ed with this, because had they provided the service they sold me and proceeded with my initial damage claim, I would have been in a better position than what I am now.
