Unlimited nightmare

I have an insurance policy with Unlimited that covers scratches and dents. When I purchased the policy last year, their agent advised me that they would repair both old and new scratches and dents on my car, and this was even recorded. However, now that I'm trying to make a claim for a dent, they're telling me that they don't cover major dents - despite the dent not being that significant. They're pointing to their terms and conditions, but I'm disputing this since nothing about these limitations was mentioned in our recorded conversation. It seems there's a discrepancy between what the agent said and what's written in the fine print.
