Trying to get Authorization without my consent

So Jackie phones me today offering scratch and dent cover with a free sim etc

She asks for all my details including my account number where I stop and tell her no, I'm NOT signing up but send me a mail and I will look at it and she says no Sir, she'll send a mail and once I agree to it they will proceed.

No email was received and she even said, I'm not going to risk my job over R188 well clearly not because she went and put two cars on the debit order authorization. I NEVER gave consent. Pls confirm I don't have a policy and then delete my details. Don't ever contact me again after confirming

Not so kind regards Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you so much for bringing what has occurred to our attention. The Unlimited was built on love, trust and the ideal that doing the right thing must always come first. Yes, we’re a business and we love signing up new customers, but it’s absolutely unacceptable for our co-worker to have opened up a policy for you without your consent. As of this morning, the membership which was in your name has been cancelled. We’ve also launched an investigation into the call which took place between yourself and our team member. We’ll be contacting you in 24-48 hours to present you with our findings. As soon as this is done, we’ll add your details to our ‘Do Not Contact’ list to ensure that you don’t hear from us again.

Kindly release the recordings to me, seeing as you has the audacity today to say "but I have my banking details" did you listen to the entire recording of both calls? Please share the recordings so I can take it further. I clearly said I don't agree and want her to send me details first.

Surely this must be against regulations

Hi Alex,

Thank you for writing to us once more. Please note that our team has gone through the call with a fine-tooth comb and we found that you did in fact agree to the membership. No rules of regulations were broken by our co-worker during the call. During our conversation with you yesterday afternoon, you informed us that there were 2 separate sales calls made to you. We’ve asked our IT department to retrieve the 2nd call. This will take 24-48 hours. Your continued patience will be greatly appreciated.

I did NOT agree at all...told her to send me details first and did you hear the part where she said she doesn't want to risk her job for R188.

Please tell me why she would say that if I "agreed"
