TRYING

For almost a year we have been struggling to get The Unlimited to pay out R6000 on APT077885 for jaw surgery for a patient whose jaw was broken. Despite receiving an 80-page medical report for Typerberg Hospital, which complies with all legal requirements and is accepted by the road accident fund, it is not good enough for them. They keep insisting that they need a motivation from the doctor and a discharge summary. Tygerberg hospital keeps saying The Unlimited needs to request these additional documents directly, and The Unlimited keeps passing the buck to us because they dont seem to have anyone competent enough to request it from the hospital.

 Hi Louise,

Thank you for taking our call. We still need the discharge records and proof of your motor-cycle licence / motor-cylce learner’s licence. We’ll begin the assessment for your claim as soon as we’ve received the required documents.
