Tactics to avoid members to cancel

I sent an email to cancel, last year Oct 25 and they rep**** after a week and tried to prevent me from cancelling and when i could not they disconnected the call and never called back, i tried again in Jan 26 and they say the cant cancel unless read me all my benefits, stalling so i can drop the phone, i requested to speak to the manager and they say she is not available
