Promise not delivered
Hi All.
I am now beginning to realize that the unlimited have *****ed me severely to a point that i am hopeless. I submitted my claim on the 10/07/2019 and on Friday 12/07/2019 i called the unlimited to find out the status of my claim and i was told that it takes 72 hours for a claim to be processed. We went ahead with the funeral on the 13/07/2019 and just because i had extra money to cover all the costs of the funeral hoping that when 72 hours passes I'll be able to balance the shortfall created by the 72 hours claim waiting time but that did not happen. on Monday i got a call from the Unlimited saying the money will be paid out either on Tuesday or Wednesday latest. It is Thursday today and no money has been paid and no one from the unlimited is even bothered to take a phone and call me to notify me of the currently delay for them to payout as they promised a swift claiming process which now turns to be just lies to me. If it is not possible for the unlimited to keep the promises they made to me then I'll be more than happy for the Unlimited to just give me all premiums I've paid then we can go our separate ways in an amicable manner. I've never been humiliated in this way before by an Insurance company although I've always heard people cry and complain of such. The level of disrespect and poor treatment i am getting from the Unlimited is very scary and annoying to the point i cannot take It anymore. Its time all South Africans become aware of Companies like the Unlimited that loot money from poor South Africans with the hope that they will be helped one-day when the unexpected situations happen to them. It is very poignant that the is treatment of this nature at this time by South Africans to South Africans.
I've learned my biggest lesson with regards to The so called the Unlimited ***** and ********ly minded, self proclaimed, Egocentric and Monopoly masters. What would have happened if i did not have money and the people surrounding me for support financially and emotional during my bereaved time where i lost my niece? It means i would've had to postpone the burial and wait for 72 hours that the Unlimited promised to pay out and then that would've been a biggest disgrace to my family at large. Thanks for the support i got from my family rather than the insurance company i pay every month for days like this.
