Misleading Policy Terms & Poor Claim Handling. Claim Rejected Due to Unclear Conditions – Very Disappointed”
I am writing this with deep frustration, disappointment, and honestly, a sense of regret for ever trusting Unlimited Indulgence & Dotsure with my motor warranty.
When I first took out this plan, I had my doubts. But I chose to trust the name, the promises, and the way everything was explained to me. I was assured that once the required debit orders were processed, I would be covered and able to claim if anything went wrong. Based on that understanding, I committed myself financially and trusted that I was securing protection and peace of mind.
However, my experience has been the complete opposite.
The issue with my vehicle first appeared on 12 February 2026. At that stage, it seemed minor and the car was still functioning, so there was no reason to panic or immediately submit a claim. Like any reasonable person, I monitored the situation. Within days, the problem worsened to the point where the vehicle completely stopped working. That is when I submitted my claim - in good faith, believing I was doing exactly what the policy required.
Now I am being told that I cannot be assisted due to a “54-day” condition that was never clearly communicated to me ( i submited my claim after 60 days and i was honest enough to tell them that i started to experience minor issues on my 54th day after my warranty was active and at that time my car was still functioning. After just my 60 day with the insurance the car didn't want to move at all ,that is when I claimed). This feels unfair, misleading, and deeply concerning. How is it that when payments are being deducted, everything runs smoothly - but when it is time for the company to honour their side, suddenly there are conditions that were never properly explained?
This whole experience has made me feel taken for granted as a customer. It feels like I am only valued when I am paying, but not when I genuinely need assistance. That is not what I signed up for.
What makes this even worse is the poor level of communication. Responses are delayed, clarity is lacking, and there is no sense of urgency or accountability. This has left me feeling not only frustrated, but also anxious and uncertain — especially because I re**** on this plan for protection, and now it feels like that protection does not exist.
At this point, I am questioning the integrity of this policy and the company behind it. Customers should not have to fight this hard to be assisted, especially when they have honoured their obligations.
I am requesting a clear explanation and a fair resolution to this matter. If this is not addressed urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate this further.
Right now, I feel let down, misled, and honestly disappointed that something I trusted has turned into such a stressful and negative experience. I would like to add further clarity to my complaint regarding Unlimited Indulgence, as there are serious inconsistencies that are now raising even greater concern.
My policy was created on 7 November 2025. At the time, I was clearly informed that once the first two debit orders had successfully gone through, I would then be eligible for cover and able to submit a claim if needed. I honoured this requirement, and more than two debit orders have already been processed.
Based on this, I acted in good faith and trusted that I was fully covered.
However, I am now being told about a “60-day waiting/engagement period,” and that the two successful debit order rule does not apply. Now because i claimed after 54 days now they can't assist me
These conditions were never clearly explained to me at the start. They are only being introduced now, at the point where I need assistance, which feels misleading and unfair.
This raises a serious concern: why are these conditions not clearly communicated upfront, but only used later as a reason to reject what I believe is a valid claim?
What is even more concerning is the inconsistency in how matters are handled. When it comes to debit orders, everything runs smoothly and without delay. However, when it comes to assisting a customer or processing a claim, there are delays, unclear communication, and suddenly new conditions appear.
Yet, the moment I mention cancelling the policy, there is immediate responsiveness. This clearly shows that urgency exists — but only when it benefits the company and not the customer.
I have supported Unlimited Indulgence in good faith, trusting that I was investing in protection and peace of mind. Instead, I am left feeling taken for granted, misled, and unsupported at the very moment I need assistance.
At this stage, I am requesting a clear, honest explanation and a fair resolution. Customers deserve transparency from the beginning — not conditions that only appear when it is time for the company to honour its obligations.
This experience has been extremely disappointing, and unless it is resolved urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate it further.

I am writing to follow up on your response dated 17 March 2026 @ 17H36, where I was informed that my concerns had been escalated and that I would receive feedback within 24 to 48 working hours.
As of today, that timeframe has passed, and I have still not received any tangible feedback or update regarding my matter.
This lack of communication is becoming increasingly frustrating, especially as I urgently need to have my car sorted. The delay is causing significant inconvenience, and I would appreciate clarity on what is happening with my case.
Kindly provide me with a detailed update as a matter of urgency, including the current status and when I can expect a resolution.
I trust that this matter will now be handled with the urgency it requires.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Wanzi Jacobs
