JUST ANOTHER THIEVING COMPANY IN THIS COUNTRY

During the middle of April 2019, I suffered a severe heart attack and needed immediate medical assistance. Being in a panicked and desperate state, I called a friend who is a paramedic. He took immediate action and got emergency medical personnel to me in a matter of minutes. With the case being as severe as it was, I physically crashed about 60 seconds after their arrival. the heart attack was of such a severe nature, that I was hospitalized and had to undergo double bypass surgery.

I have a policy with The unlimited that is supposed to cover situations like these, but to my utter amazement and surprise, "I didn't follow the correct process and therefore the claim for the ambulance service will not be paid."

Who in their right mind thinks of calling an insurer after wasting precious time getting their contact details in a situation like this?

Now that I want to cancel my policy, they are willing to assist with that, but blatantly refuse to refund my payment they have already deducted for next month.

I am definitely not leaving this here, they will be getting a lot of attention for this blatant theft

Obviously this is just another example of a company that is based on BBBEE bull**** principles and don't give a hoot about the well-being of their members. I have to wonder what their employment equity looks like.....
