I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Unlimited Insurances regarding the delayed settlement of my late father's insurance claim. My mother, Elphie Nomaphelo Nightingale, has been a loyal member of The Unlimited Insurance for over 20 years, consistently paying premiums without ever making a claim. Unfortunately, my father passed away on January 7, 2025. My mother submitted a claim to The Unlimited Insurance, providing all required documentation, including the investigating officer's details. Despite numerous weekly follow-up calls, the insurance company has provided inconsistent explanations for the delay in settling the claim. On Monday, March 10, 2025, we were assured that the claim was in process and would be paid out within five days. However, on March 13, 2025, my mother received a call from the insurance company requesting additional documentation, which had already been provided. The unlimited has failed us dismally and on their promise. Worst company ever.
