"Flawed policy, no flexibility—The Unlimited, I’m done!"

I’ve been a loyal client of The Unlimited for years, but my recent experience with their Scratch and Dent policy has left me extremely disappointed. I attempted to place a claim for minor scratches and dents on my car, only to be told I must visit one of their RMI-approved panel beaters.

After doing so, I was shocked to receive a quotation of over R12,000—for minor cosmetic damage! To make matters worse, I was informed that my policy only covers R4,000 every 3 months, which is completely out of touch with current market rates. It’s clear that this amount is nowhere near sufficient to cover even basic repairs from their own approved service providers.

What’s even more frustrating is that they won’t allow you to use that R4,000 elsewhere—you’re stuck with their overpriced panel beaters. This policy is flawed, unrealistic, and ultimately useless for the average customer.

I’m fed up. The Unlimited’s cover is undervalued, their service is rigid, and they’ve given me every reason to terminate my policy. I expected better after years of loyalty
