False Adverti*****t, Misleading the Public and Appalling Customer Service

My Father has been a loyal client of The Unlimited. About a year ago he has decide to cancel his policy due to the fact that it seem not to be beneficial for him as he would prefer a policy which will cover payouts for hospitalisation. Once the policy was cancelled, an consultant from The Unlimited called to investigate as to why the policy was cancelled. After a lenghtly discussion the consultant had confirmed that this policy did not only cover hospitalised due to an accient but also covers any hospitalisation. Due to the information given by the consultant from The Unlimited my dad continued with the policy.

Once my father was hospitalized and in ICU we have tried to place a claim and the following incidents has taken place.

*None of The Unlimited consultants nore management has returned our calls after promising to do so.

*We have been told that a claim will be actioned no later than 7 business days. That too has not been done.

*Now we have been told that the claim has been rejected due to the fact my father was in hospital for an illness and not for an accident.

The unlimited clearly states the following. Note this is taken directly from thier website. This is false advertising and misleading the public.
