DON'T GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE WHO CALLS FROM THE UNLIMITED!

If you get a call saying you won a voucher from a popular retail store, DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR INFO! THERE IS NO VOUCHER AND THEY SELL YOUR CONTACT DETAILS TO OTHER CALL CENTRES! I just received another call from The Unlimited offering me the same opportunity after trying to offer me R50000 in car damage repairs. When I said I wasn't interested LUSANDA said because I answered I'd won a Clicks voucher and I'd need to take my ID AND THE CODE IN THE SMS SHE WAS GOING TO SMS ME to any Clicks branch. When I told her someone had already called me with this "offer" and I knew there was no voucher and that this was a ********** attempt to gather my personal information to sell to other call centres, Lusanda couldn't get off the call fast enough. You see, I received a similar call a few months back telling me I'd won a voucher from Woolworths or Checkers (I could choose) and if I answered a few questions I would receive an SMS with a code that I needed to take to the store of my choice with my ID book. I answered the questions which were: "If you had to take a personal loan which company would you go to; which car insurance brand would you use;" etc. After that, I started getting sales calls from these companies (I listed my number as one these salespeople couldn't call with deals so they obviously bypassed that with the lie of the voucher) including Sanlam Indie (I forget the rest, I think MiWay could have been one) but I never received any SMS. This time I saved the number and company name.
