Dishearten customer

I called in this afternoon at 14:54 to submit a claim on my car and got through to Nontobeko, She advised me of the process and I asked her if I can take my car to Bodyline as I have previously used them, She said as long as they RMI approved and thereafter said let her check the list. She could not find Bodyline on the list of approved panel beaters, and said she will register the claim, and i will receive an sms, from where I can choose 1 panel beater to get a quote, I reiterated to her that I have this policy from about 2016 and have only used Bodyline and would prefer to use them only. I asked her to find out, as the last claim i submitted was the same thing and i was advised by Kamogelo he will find out if Bodyline will be added back on the Panel,

If my car cannot be taken to Bodyline and if Bodyline is no longer on your panel, please advise me what is the process to cancel my policy, I will take out a new policy with a different provider who has bodyline on there panel, I have been a loyal customer for abt 10 years and do not think i should continue begging for a service you cannot offer

Guys, I do not understand why I have to go to the extent of sending a complaint to get assistance,
I work in a financial institution dealing with customer complaints daily,
Its dreadful and tiring,
One should not resort to this for assistance

Please confirm with me if Bodyline is on your Panel or if I should seek an alternate policy,

I cannot go through the same thing again the next time I claim,

and its not like this is the 1st time i asked about this :-(

Hi  Prevendhra,

We’re truly sorry for the miscommunication. Yes, you can visit Bodyline for a quotation provided it's RMI approved. However, we will share the claims process along with a list of RMI panel beaters, as two quotations are required.

As per the call earlier i was advised one quote is required,
Its always the case of an agent providing the incorrect details,

Guys im paying for this policy, its not something thats free where im complaining for nothing,
and im going to say it again, i have the policy for 10 years!

I will await the sms with the details to submit

I have not been assisted and would like to know what is your escalation process to the Ombudsman, I want to escalate this matter,

Please provide me a reference number for my escalation to you and the OBS details

Good day, I am writing this message because I genuinely feel disappointed and unfairly treated as a customer. I received a call last week Tues or Wednesday from Andrew who confirmed my documents were received and he will further investigate my escalation and will get back to me, On Friday, I received an email stating that my refund had been submitted and would take 2–3 days. Then, on Saturday morning, I received a payment of R3 910. While I appreciate that the funds were processed, not a single person contacted me to explain what was happening, or to confirm that once the refund was paid, I could proceed with taking my car to Bodyline for repairs. Instead, everything was handled silently via email and payment notifications , with no clarity, no communication, and no consideration for the experience I’ve had throughout this process. To date, no one has addressed the extremely poor service I received when submitting my claim. This is not the first time either. I went through the same struggle last year, and now again this year. It’s exhausting having to chase for answers and follow up repeatedly for something I am paying for. I need to understand: Is this the level of service I should expect every time I submit a claim? Am I even allowed to continue using Bodyline because no one seems willing to confirm this? Should I be considering cancelling this policy altogether and moving to a service provider that values customer experience? Please advise urgently so that I can finally move forward. This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating, and I honestly feel let down by the service I’ve received.
