Death benefit------natural causes is not covered.

My father took this policy because of the no hassles to get cover - no medical aid and no medical test needed. He took this to cover the funeral cost in the event of one of them passing away. After his wife is passed away now due to natural circumstances, suddenly it is not covered because she had a medical history. The ad clearly states no medical tests needed so how then can this claim now be rejected because of a medical reason?

The agreement that he made was clear, a death benefit policy where no medical tests or anything needs to be done, but the claim gets rejected on a doctors report.

The simple solution here is either approve his claim or give him back the money he has paid in premiums as he was misled as to what the policy actually covers.
