COMPLAINT

I took out a policy as from 1 October 2017 with The Unlimited. They only told me that there was a waiting period for 3 months. My life partner was admitted from 8 - 12 January 2018 in hospital. There was lots of forms to be completed as well as reports that I had to get from the treating doctor - only the report cost me R297-10. After all the forms and reports were send to them, they phoned me yesterday, telling me that they won't pay me out for the time that my life partner was hospitalized because he was diagnosed in 2014 with the illness. From 2014 up to the 8th of January 2018 he did not see the doctor again. When they are selling the product to you, there is lots of promises, but when you have to claim, there is always a snag.

Reviewer Update
I filed my complaint on Monday 21 February 2018. On the same day I received feedback that they are investigating my complaint, and I will get feedback within the next 48 hours - according to me that should have been the 23rd of February 2018 or early the 24th of February. Up to date I have received no feedback at all from The Unlimited. Again, as when selling the product to me, PROMISES, PROMISES, PROMISES!!!!! Pathetic!!!!!!!
