Clarification on Cancelation of Policy

I had an There4U policy that covered me in an in the event of burglary and the other policy was a death and emergency cover I took it out in the year 2018 and never did I claimed on any of the two policies on the death cover upon payment every month I use to get airtime back ,the unlimited simcard I had to get collect at click I use to get it in the beginning I think for the first couple of years until I change my phone I encountered problems with the unlimited sim I use to consult the service provider regarding it but to no avail, but it didn't bother me as I didnt make use of the airtime ,I lost my job last year after careful consideration I decided to have my policies cancel as I have to cut on cost so for two months I didn't make any payment on both so on the 26th March 2025 the payment of R146 and R516 went off I did manage to reverse the R146 payment that was towards the There4U cover and the amount of R516 for the death cover so on the 1st April 2025 I decided to call the Unlimited to have both policies canceled I spoke to a lady by the name of Nash I explained to her the reason why I'm canceling the policies ,She then told me that they don't owe me any monies and that she is only going to send me a message that will read that the policies had been canceled, off which I did receive, I just wanna know, after cooling of period are one not entitled to get my premium of R516 back and nothing back seeing that I haven't claim in all the years.

Hi Annabella,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please note that our policies run on a month-to-month basis. You're covered for the months that you pay for. There's no refund upon cancellation as our policies don't have surrender value.
