CAUTION - at claim stage - It not what they say :-(

Over a year ago my wife received a cold call with regards to the brilliant package that they, “The Unlimited”, offer. You get R12,000.00 per year, dents and scratches, repair to mags and upholstery. One year later I decide to put in a claim. I went and got 2 quotes from 2 separate panel beaters and this was submitted to them. Both quotes were in the region of +/- R9,000.00 and the other was +/-R12,000.00. Both quotes included photographs taken by the respective panel beater and they still ask for more pictures. IT TOOK THEM AN ENTIRE MONTH TO EVALUATE THE CLAIM AND TO TELL ME IT WAS REJECTED. My car may be old but there are DEFINITELY dents, bumps and scratches. The driver side door a minor ding, my font and rear bumper had a few bumps and I can understand normal day to day wear and tear but these are actual dents and scratches and my claim was REJECTED. The front seat had a tear and they tell me only for loose stitches. So my question is what exactly are you paying for? Then on the call I was told it exceeded R3,000.00 which exceeded my limit but they say you have R12,000.00 per year. They said they have a link to terms and conditions on an sms that they sent you. Please I urge you to be extremely cautious when dealing with this company “The Unlimited” if you do plan on using them but I would strongly suggest you don’t. It would be the smartest and wisest decision you would make. Do they really care about you?
