Cancellation delayed.
I have been trying to cancel a new policy and the lady initially suggested I provided the wrong information, then could not contact me yet all the information I provided was correct and available. I had to send photocopies but even that was not enough. She still wanted my phone number (although it was available on my correspondence) Then referred to POPIA to further delay the cancellation. Really a bad experience.

27 Feb 2026, 12:15I now learn that Guardrisk referred the cancellation to you for follow-up. You did not advise them at the time that it was not one of yours. I provided all the information necessary to address this, but still had to go through a to-and-fro to sort this out. The lady sent me a copy of her letter to Guardrisk and I trust this will now be appropriately dealt with. It would have been sorted out if their initial referral had been properly attended to.
