BEWARE! They do not stick to their promises.

I have the Auto Elite vehicle maintenance plan which promises R3000 worth of cover every 3 months. According to the policy they do not cover pre-existing damages (ie damages incurred before commencement of the policy) which is understandable. What they don't tell you, is that once you have claimed once, they don't cover any damages that were present at the time of the first claim. I was told - i specifically asked - that I could fix the damages to my car over time ie R3000 worth of maintenance this month and then another R3000 worth of maintenance after 3 months. BUT MY SECOND CLAIM WAS REFUSED ON THE GROUNDS OF PREEXISTING DAMAGES. None of these damages pre- existed the commencement of the policy.

ALSO, please check and double check the exclusions. They only cover repairs to roof linings, not replacing roof linings. But if you check with companies that repair roof linings, there isn't a good way to repair linings - you generally need to replace.
