Avoid The Unlimited
The Unlimited do not recognize the debit order in the month that 1) a claim is lodged 2) when the debit order for the next month is cancelled.
This is the first time I have lodged a claim for an an amount of R3,000.00 with The Unlimited albeit that I have had the policy +/- 2 years. I am a widow and a pensioner.

27 Oct 2020, 17:14I have read your communication with regards to wanting to call me. My phone is working, as I have received phone calls from my son today date 27th October 2020. I have also received a phone call from Nicoline Croucamp at The Unlimited, who explained to me that calling from cell phone number (The Unlimited) to cell phone number (me) does not work; only the office landline will connect to my cell phone.

Thank you so much for getting back to us. We also attempted to reach you by dialing your office number, however, nobody picked up. Please note that your policy is currently on a cancelled status and we're unable to help you further with you claim unless you reactivate your policy. Please provide us with an alternative number we can contact you on or propose a convenient time for us to give you a call.

28 Oct 2020, 13:12To Whom It May Concern,
The debit order was transacted 1st October 2020 to The Unlimited, with my understanding that I can lodge a claim until the 31st October 2020. Now either The Unlimited honour the agreement in settling the R3,000.00 to the TRN Panelbeaters as per my e-mail dated the 26th October 2020; or I go to small claims court for your expenses to get the company to honour the agreement. I have honoured the debit orders for +/- 2 years and the first time I lodge a claim The Unlimited do not honour the agreement due to internal processes for which I have no control over and should not be involved at all. As a pensioner and widow I find this treatment grossly unfair. As explained previously you can contact me on my mobile from your landline any time, or e-mail me.

28 Oct 2020, 18:05As previously explained please call me from a landline to my mobile phone; as The Unlimited mobile phones will not recognize my mobile phone. Ms Nicoline Croycamp from The Unlimited explained this to me on the 27th October. You can call me anytime using your landline I.e. Telkom or you can communicate on e-mail.

28 Oct 2020, 20:22To make it very clear, I do not have a landline I.e. Telkom only a mobile. The Unlimited would need to use a Telkom line to make contact with my mobile, or communicate with me through e-mail.
