Hi... I njoyed the Unlimited 2 and half years back and I never keep the payments which the 27th of every month but now I cancelled my insurance with them and I never claimed before until today and they sent me the letters, in those letters they state if you never claimed anything with them and u wanna cancel your insurance policy you get refunded but now I called them and they saying the policy I'm under you don't get your refund... And which doesn't agree with what they said in the letters or contract they sent to me 2 weeks back... Please help Regards Simphiwe Alfred Mbasane

Thanks for taking our call this afternoon. As explained, there is no refund due to you as you were covered during the months that you were debited for. This means that if anything had happened to you, you had full access to all the benefits on your Health Protect policy. Your terms and conditions state that you will get a refund, if you cancelled within your cooling off period of 5 business days from the date you app**** for the Benefits. If there’s anything else we can do to help you, please pop us a message below or give us a call on ***.

You had 2 policies with us. Your Health Protect policy had a 5 day cooling off period and your There4U policy had a 31 day cooling off period. A cooling off period in the number of days or weeks after a sale, which you have to cancel a policy. If you are debited during that period then you will be refunded. You cancelled outside of that period.
