Furniture never received

The Uncommon Room (Instagram @theuncommonroom_za) has exceptionally poor service delivery. This business may be a ****. I ordered a custom furniture piece and paid a 50% deposit. I was told the lead time would be 3 weeks. It is now week 8 and I have not received the item. The business has some new "excuse" every time I request an update on when my item will be delivered. I have also had to constantly request updates even though I was told that they would keep me informed. The latest excuse for the delay is that all the machinery was ****** from their factory - a business with good customer service would have sent out formal communication regarding this incident and the estimated time delay. I still have not received an estimated date of delivery. I have requested a refund, but I know I am unlikely to receive this.
