Bad accommodation in Stellenbosch!

We booked Travel Centre Apartment 1, 58 Bird Street Stellenbosch from 9 to 16 March 2020 through booking.com. It’s an apartment on first floor and seemingly safe. The second evening of our stay whilst out we were ****** from a laptop, rooter, jewelry, clothes and a hair dryer. The investigative police officer as well as detective said it was an inside job. When phoned the owner was not very helpful and just said booking.com will refund us. No compassion regardless of our trauma and loss of valuable possessions. Just said oh then we have to put burglar proofing. After another call the following day the owner agreed to fix the window! Surprisingly only our belongings were ******- not the owners hair dryer, rooter, tv, ... Surely selective picking knowing what should stay and what can be taken. Booking.com also does not reply to messages. No answer even if you hold for 10 minutes. Surely done with booking.com as well.
