Would not recommend

I would not recommend this service. They charge too much for the level of service provided. My mother in law had her stuff moved from a storage unit to our house 6.8km away. Len charged her more than what a professional moving company charged me to move my stuff 69km. He consistently complained about the level of work they had to do. His workers damaged my floor tiles by dragging heavy furniture over it. He only brought two guys to help him even though he knew he needed atleast 4. I own a party planning business and he helped himself to my balloons without asking and without apology when he was questioned about it. His guys also wanted to take some of our stuff. When we told them the price we were willing to sell them for, they said they wanted to just take them. Not pay. The removal company I used to move my stuff from Pietermaritzburg to Waterfall worked until midnight without complaining. Len complained that he could not place my garden bench where we wanted it to be because it's heavy, he only brought 2 guys and his guys would not do it after 5pm. After the first time he moved my mother in laws stuff from the house she was staying at to the storage facility (also only 6.9km distance) he said he would give her a discount when it came time to bring over her things to the new house. When the time came, he backtracked and said he couldn't do that. He also said he would install our appliances for us. He did not. We had to help him and his guys move heavy stuff because he didn't have enough guys to do it. If you don't have alot to move and don't mind paying an exorbitant amount to have it moved, Lens service is convenient. Nothing more.
