Unprofessional, unaccountability for changes in school environment at The tall giraffe. Owner opted to blame the parent and call them unChristian and crazy.

I enrolled my child in the above mentioned school as it stated it offered small classes and promised an environment for my child to thrive. The owner and teacher of the school initially had 1 child enrolled and my child was the second. My child was happy, bubbly and thriving. This soon changed once the teacher added another child to the facility. My child behaviour started to change at home. I alerted the teacher/owner of the school of these changes and she dismissed them and advised that she would monitor the situation. A month passed and another child was added to the school and my childs behaviour deteriorated further and he stopped verbalising and became withdrawn. I again raised the concerns with the teacher/owner and she stated that she was not aware of anything except for the additional childrenZ she then queried whether anything had changed at home and the answer was no. The conclusion then was that the child hasregressed to the changes in environment in the school and i addressed this with the owner. Her attitude and response was of a defensive manner and highly unprofessional as she stated that it was not her fault my child was not coping with the two additional kids at her school. She then added by spewing her opinion of me based on statuses she had seen on my whatsapp and then accused me of being the cause of my childs regression. She took no responsibility for her part as the caregiver at school and her lack of remedial action after changing the conditions of learning. The owner opted to wait for me as a parent to raise the red flags in my childs behavioural changes when she had noticed herself within the school environment and decide to not mention it. The owner the attacked my character stating that i was being unchristian by laying my complaints to her and even minimised all that i had to say as “crazy” and “*******”. The owner/teacher also stated that it was never her intention to only have 2 children at the school as she was always planning on expanding. As much as i would agree with this - is it fair on a 4 year old child to go through severe regression and not receive the support required from school to mitigate the effects of such changes? The owner/teacher did not see any fault of undue service to my child as a result of changing the school environment - which has ultimately led to his regression. I am subsequently removing my child from the facility as I no longer see the benefit of keeping my child in a school which prioritises tuition of learners over the overall well being of all the learners.
