Left in the lurch after 2 days by poolcompany advertising 5 years guarantee

What does 5-year guarantee mean to Mr. Sean Beckett from The Swimming Pool Company (formerly in Cape Town, nowadays based in Croydon, Somerset West). Our swimming pool lost much water and also needed a new skimmerbox and mosaic border. We engaged mr. Becket, owner of The swimming Pool Company to quote us and we agreed on the amount of Zar 27560 with 5 year warrantee. This included relining and painting of the pool as well as new pipes, new skimmerbox and installing the mosaic tiles. Although initially verry happy with the work, we discovered within 2 days after finishing the job, we were losing much water . Also that the new skimmerbox has two cracks and is not placed properly. I contacted him the same day about the waterloss and he advised me to mark the waterlevel and to let him know the following morning. Since that day mr. Becket has not returned any call or attempt from us to get in touch. We have sent him several pictures and requests to remedy the problem. He does not seem to care. This after he told us over and over again about the 5 year warranty he gave us.

We are very disappointed as we have spent a large amount and are left with a pool that we can not use. We also can not use our pump and filter and are now left with a dirty pool with very little water in it. On the internet mr. Becket shows off his own new pool with a waterfeature which we let him have. Our advise is to go to a reputed poolinstaller and check references.
