Stanford gem

On a recent visit to Stanford,near Herm****,we decided to have a coffee at the newly opened Stanford Kitchen. Our party of four sat out on the back stoep, but there is seating inside and on the front porch-easy social distancing! The staff were happy to rearrange tables and chairs for us and the menu proved interesting enough for us to return later for lunch,having reserved a table.The food (curries for the guys,fish for the ladies) was excellent value for money and we finished off with a delicious,freshly made eclair - we took 2 more home with us! They are not currently licensed, but wine may be purchased from the Tops across the road,so not a problem. Can highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.
