Beware - No Consideration For Inconveniencing the Customer

Spartan Truck Hire in Kempton Park needs to up their game! After paying IN FULL for an 8-ton truck at the beginning of August for a removal scheduled in late September in Limpopo, Murphy's law, they experienced a "breakdown" on the day of the removal AFTER the vehicle had been loaded. 4 hours later, the vehicle was repaired and the truck returned to their depot still laden with our furniture. The next day the truck was dispatched to the offloading location and everything was safely offloaded. However, one would think that there would be some show of good faith and that they would only charge for the additional mileage for the following day. But NOOOO, we were charged insurance, tracking, cost of driver and a fee for the "additional day". No regard given to the inconvenience experienced by the customer for the breakdown of their vehicle, no offer of compensation for the additional mileage we incurred having to fetch their breakdown service from Polokwane who got hopelessly LOST, despite having sent them a pin location for our exact whereabouts in Sterkrivier. Customer Service sorely lacking. Would not recommend them. The only positive I can offer is that their driver was friendly and managed to maintain his composure during a very stressful situation!
