Stars at SANRAL | South African National Roads Agency
On Friday 30 July 2021, at around 17:00, my motorbike broke down on the N3 just passed the Geldenhuys Interchange, before the Van Buuren Road off ramp, in the fast lane. I got picked up at around 18:00 & went to organize something to collect my bike, in Midrand. I got back to where the motorbike should have been, at around 19:00, to my dismay it had been "******". I was driving to the police station to report the theft when I received a phone call from Edward ***. He was very pleasant & informed me he was from Sandral & they had my motorbike. This was obviously a huge relief. He said he would call me a little later & let me know where it was. I never received another phone call, but it was already fairly late. On Saturday I phoned *** & spoke to Phumzile. She was also very pleasant & made every effort to help me, however, she wasn't able to trace my motorbike. She assured me that if she found anything she would get back to me. She said if she didn't get back to me someone would phone after 13:00, because that's when the next shift starts. I received a call from Edward at 13:59 telling me that the bike was safely at Modderfontein Customer Centre & I could collect it. I told him that I would only be able to collect on Sunday the 1st, & he said he would tell them that I would be coming. When I got to the Modderfontein Customer Centre it was also a pleasure dealing with everyone. They were all friendly & super helpful. A guy called Abram even helped me load the bike in to the back of the truck I had borrowed. I would like to send a BIG shout out to Edward, Phumzile, & Abram, thank you for your efficiency & helpfulness, keep up the good work! The whole experience was a good one, thank you very much.
