Hobart Sneaker Shack is a joke
Put your luxury leather goods in dirty water and scrub them with.a hard steel brush to within an inch of its life yourself before even considering this joke of a company. No care nor knowledge , nor value of leather. I learnt the hard any unfortunately. And their customer service from shopfront to management is non-existent, aggressive and accusatory. Run, don't walk, far from this shop. Terrible.

22 May 2024, 09:12If **********, Terrible, and Atrocious had a baby it would take the form of Sneaker Shack in Hobart centre.
I took my vintage, designer leather bags to be cleaned on 29th February. Now, I realized that the lock of my Banana Republic bag was not closing even when empty. Not only was it looking in a worse state than what I'd remembered but now there was also something wrong with the bag. Come to realize that someone had removed the lock, folded the soft ***hide, put four holes into the ***hide and *****ed in the lock in the wrong place.
I went back to the store in good faith, just to show them their mistakes and to perhaps get an apology. No apology came. Instead they " found it hard to believe" ( said multiple times) that anyone in their store would do that and that I must've have done it myself since they don't have the equipment to do such a thing. I said that the only equipment needed would be a small ***** driver or a flat blade. To which again they said they have no such things and they didn't remove , nor fold nor ***** in anything, and they have "proof" that my bags came in in terrible condition, (again, said multiple times). I told them to please stop accusing me of lying and that my bags were at fault, but all three staff where adamant that I, as the paying customer ruined my own bag. There where in fact two bags and both came back in a much, much worse state than how they where handed in, and dirtier. The photos they have even prove that the condition of my bags where better before and that the lock was tampered with, but still, no apology. If you value quality, accountability, decency, and customer service, stay far far away. Customer is always a lying crazy person who gets kicks out of ruining but paying for getting her bags ruined apparently at Sneaker Shack. I'm still waiting for the call about the escalalation that was supposed to come today. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES .The damage they have done is irreparable and no apology nor compensation offered.
