"The Smile Clinic" poor service nothing to smile about

The Smile Clinic at Pinehurst Mall Durbanville takes longer to give a denture quote than a quote for R1m new car. They promised my wife an email quote within 2 or 3 days and should she not get it she must advise them. Her appointment was Tuesday 12 March. By Friday still no quote. She went in to see the Dr. as requested. They said they will follow up as the dental technicians had not sent it yet. By the following Tuesday a week later, still no quote. She went in again to inquire by when would she receive the quote which she needed for her medical aid. They started checking the files, then the computer, then gathered in the next room then came to reception where my wife was waiting, saying they found it! Careless and negligence does not describe the unprofessional conduct of staff at this clinic. Dr Stoffberg had the audacity to tell her she waited so long to have her teeth done so waiting a week is not long forgetting had my wife not gone in she would have waited even longer through their negligence. My wife decided to take her x ray done on the first appointment and go to a more professional company. Clearly and unfortunately The Smile Clinic has become as complacent like most service providers in South Africa.
