The Sanctuary Restaurant, Kloofstreet

I went for a breakfast with my husband at The Sanctuary Restaurant in Kloof Street.

The service was very bad. Talk about confused waiters! We received our drinks and ordered our food, which took over 45 min to get ready (basic breakfast). We had to ask the waiter if our food is still coming and she indicated that she will go and ask in the kitchen what did we order? Our food was brought with no bread, when asking they apologized and somebody else different brought brown bread, which we didn’t order as we asked for the rye bread. Someone else brought white bread and said they found it next to the toaster, we asked them to take it back as we had ordered rye bread. Only then someone else different prepared the rye bread and brought to us....we had to wait for more than 20 minutes again with this process to get the bread and now the food was also cold.
