Pathetic customer service

I am so disappointed by the service I got at the Woodstock Cape Town branch.

It’s been years since I’ve been a client at the salon but what happened today was actually upsetting.

I got to the branch at 12 pm, I was with my partner and we were told that males are not allowed.

We then abide as the note at the window is clearly stating that. Then I said , ok I need to go for my other appointment let me leave my hair which I bought from you anyway. Then I asked what time do you close. I was told thst the salon closes at 16h00 and I must be back by 14h30 if I need to do installation. Come 14h30 , I was at the salon, guess what there were 2 ladies which were being attended and a male inside the same place I was told that no males are allowed.

To me that already raised eyebrows because there’s no consistency in the policies. And the gentleman who happened to be with ladies was not even wearing a mask. That’s another thing for another day. I questioned this behaviour and the SUPERVISOR said that gentleman is an exception. The gentlemen was not even doing his hair which I would’ve understood. Now to me as a client that is absolutely unacceptable and the fact thst at the salon other people are allowed to be without MASKS during a pandemic. Never mind the fact that it’s a MALE !

I was then approached by one of the stylists after 40 minutes of waiting to actually inform me that they will not be able to do the installation due to the fact thst it’s late. So to me my time is not valued at all . I’m sure she could’ve told me when I arrived that they will not be able to assist instead of wasting my time.

I am disappointed and in future , I’ll go back to my normal branch in Parklands .
