Worst experience at aprtment 406, THE SAILS

I booked accommodation at THE SAILS, for 1 night two bedroom apartment for 4 adults, through bookings.com. The place indicated that the maximum capacity is 4 adults, when we arrived, the owner said he only has a confirmation for two adults and we need to pay an extra 300 for the two adults. On top of that, we had to pay a 700 deposit which is refundable, then there was an extra 250 for cleaning services. We told him that not part of the confirmation when we booked, but because we were already there and we can't cancel our booking we had to pay all these monies.

On arrival at the apartment, we noticed that the dining table is wiggling as were seated there. We reported that to the owner in the morning before we leave because he was not at the apartment when we arrived.

We were told that we will get our 700 deposit after checking out. We then check out at 10 am and the owner says we need to rate his apartment on bookings.com first before he refunds us, mind you that was not part of the deal when we made the deposit. We were honest and rated the place. Later in the day he refunds us only 400 and says it's because we rated him badly and that my attitude was bad during check-in. He also says we broke his table when we informed him about that. so basically we did not get our full refund because of our rating and attitude.

This Louis guy is rude, a *****, and a **** who takes people's money. His apartment should not even be on bookings.com. I've booked through bookings.com several times and I've never had such an experience. Im very disappointed even with bookings.com because they did not bother when I called to report instead they kept on cutting my call.

If you want peace of mind, never book apartment 406 at THE SAILS owned by Louis.
