Shoddy work & ******* artists

We contracted The Roofing Guy managed by Simone de Beer to repair our roof. The foreman on the job Joel Bergstrom came out to quote, an amount of about R24000, this included replacing the facias, repairing roof tiles, waterproofing, repairing patio roof, installing new gutters. We paid in full. The work that was done on the roof was terrible, Joel had no idea how to do facias, the gutter contractors had to show him how to do it, waterproofing was done inadequately, the patio roof wasn't waterproofed or repaired, roof tiles were still cracked, missing or broken. When confronted about the work, Joel made excuses why he couldn't do it (he was on another job). Eventually we collected our gate remote from Joel, he proceeded to verbally rant & hurl abuse on SMS, he appeared to be under the influence of drugs from his incoherent texts. Simone was informed of his behaviour, she apologised but didn't come up with a solution to remedy the situation. We approached a new contractor to repair the shoddy work, I informed Simone that an amount of R5900 would be needed to repair the mess that Joel created, she agreed to pay but has only paid R2500 of the R5900. She's since ignored us completely.
