ABSOLUTE UNACCEPTABLE POOR SERVICE

I have googled for a roller shutter company that will be able to service 2 x roller shutter doors of the factory that I am renting. My choice was to make use of a company The Roller Door Company located in Randburg Gauteng. It took this company 6 weeks to eventually arrive at the premises in Waltloo to service the required doors. This after they did not pitch for all the different appointments made previously. There were also NO communication between service provider and client to explain anything. A lady called Melissa just made promises without ensuring that the service provider did fulfil its commitments. Today 24 Jun 25 The Roller Door Company did arrive at the said premises after I have informed them that I will go to Hellopeter and Facebook to report this sloppy service. We as cliental deserves MORE and BETTER!! Straight after the service I was informed by Melissa to pay the outstanding amount. I refused seeing that I was not informed to what was done for the amount invoiced. Furthermore I also need to inform the Landlord from whom I rent that the inspection and service were done thoroughly. Then Arno the manager of the company interfered and instructed the technician that he must undo all the tension springs of the doors so that the roller shutter doors cannot open till such time I paid. I have warned the technician and Arno that I will impose legal action if they do touch the doors again. All that I was requested was a report to say exactly what was done. Then Arno started to play chess. I first need to pay before the report. I also refused to do so. Eventually 12;55 on 24 June 2025 a detailed report was send to me via Whats app and payment was done instantly. The Roller Shutter Door company might have the knowledge to service roll shutter doors but their client relationships sucks. It is better to make use of a reputable company and PAY more to have a service done to your Roller Shutter doors than to have this unpleasant experience to beg companies to deliver a service in these tight economical times. The service of The Roller Door Company NOT RECCOMMENDED!!
