Rock Restaurant Herm**** out of the door

What an absolute DISSAPPOINTMENT! There goes Herm****!! After years and years of returning to the restaurant for our anniversary, the place has lost its allure, charm, and value-for-money food! We booked a table for 18:00 and arrived promptly. The head waiter, with visible tattoos on his wrists was unatentive at most, and told us that he only has one seafood platter-for-two left for the entire evening…so obviously we order it since this is what we came here for (or so we thought). R750 for: two small pieces of line fish, ice cold muscles, a small bowl of leaves, a huge plate full of french fries, and 4 prawns, and some fried up squid heads……for R750!!! Ocean Basket is better than this!! The waiter did not even bother to ask what butter we would like, he just plonked down lemon butter, which i had to ask what this was, since it was tasteless. I am sure that the waiter uses this scheme to allegedly ensure he gets a bigger tip. This greed in combination with the poor food and exorbitant prices, combined with the poor hygiene conditions at the place where we stayed has made our annual Herm**** a thing of the past!!
